Independence
Editorial decisions are made by editors alone. No brand, advertiser or commerce partner sees a story before publication, influences a verdict, or buys inclusion in a guide. Commercial relationships never determine ranking or rating.
Accuracy and sourcing
- Factual claims are attributed to a named, verifiable source.
- Health, nutrition and safety claims are sourced to peer-reviewed research, clinical guidance or a qualified expert we interviewed — never to a brand’s own marketing.
- Prices, availability and formulations are verified before publication and re-checked on update.
- We link to primary sources so readers can check our work.
Expert review
Wellness, supplement, skincare-active and fitness content is reviewed by a credentialed professional. The reviewer is named on the page with their credentials and the date of review. Reviewers check accuracy and safety framing; they do not endorse products.
Wellness safeguards
We do not make disease, cure or treatment claims. We do not present supplements as substitutes for medical care, and we include clear guidance to consult a clinician where relevant — particularly around pregnancy, nursing, chronic conditions and drug interactions.
Updates
Commerce content is reviewed on a rolling schedule. Where a product is discontinued, reformulated or superseded, we update the story and change the “updated” date at the top of the page. We do not silently swap products in and out of a ranking.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we fix it and say so. Our corrections policy explains how, and how to flag an error. Advertising and sponsorship rules are set out in our advertising policy.
Use of AI
Stories are written and edited by people. We do not publish AI-generated articles, AI-generated verdicts, or AI-invented sources. Where illustrative imagery is generated rather than photographed, it is used only for editorial art direction and never to depict a product’s real appearance or results.
