What we correct
- Factual errors, misattributed sources, and incorrect data.
- Wrong prices, discontinued products, and changed formulations.
- Health or safety framing that could mislead a reader.
How corrections appear
Material corrections are noted at the foot of the story with the date and what changed. We do not quietly delete or rewrite a claim we’ve already published. Routine maintenance — a price refresh, a broken link — updates the “last updated” date without a correction note.
Reporting an error
Email the editors through our contact page with the story URL and the specific claim. We aim to respond within two working days and to publish a correction within five where one is warranted.
Right of reply
Brands may dispute a factual claim about their product at any time. Disputes over our opinion, verdict or ranking are not corrections, and we do not remove critical coverage on request. Reporting rules are set out in our editorial standards.
